#1 Reason We Fail In Our MLM Business

Recently, I have began to question why it is that some people succeed beyond their wildest dreams in the network marketing business, while others spend more money than they make trying to promote their MLM or Network Marketing business. Two people who represent the same network marketing company and have the same training, same resources, same product, and same comp plan can have two different extremes. One might earn $600,000 per month, while the other earns $6 per year. What is the difference?

There is a major difference between these two income earners. This difference all goes back to one simple word that describes the $6 a year income earner. They are a procrastinator. Now if you are currently in the $6 a year income bracket, take a really good look at how you are running your business. You might be getting plenty of good training. However, you may not be taking the time to apply this to your business. I have outlined a pretty good description of what a procrastinator is. See if you can identify with any of these traits.

P-Puts off doing important chores for personal life and business
R-Resists opening mail on a daily basis
O-Off on their time estimates
C-creates excuses on why they can’t do a chore
R-Regularly late for appointments
A-attempts putting chores off until the last minute
S-Stays away from the phone
T-Tend to put off making decisions.
I-initiates projects but doesn’t finish them out of fear or too much work
N-Nice but ineffectual role.
A-Always place people in a position of power over you by default.
T-Time is just not important for you. You are continually late to events.
O-You forget about obligations or pass them up for a better offer.
R-Regularly lives in chaos and drama around time issues.

So how do you overcome being a procrastinator in your MLM or network marketing business? One of the best things you can do is write a to-do list. Do not put so many things on the list that there’s no way you can accomplish it. Make a reasonable list. Stick to your list on a daily basis. The things you have learned in training, implement those into your list.

Stop looking for excuses on why you cannot do the things you need to do to grow your business. Do not procrastinate! Instead, get to work and start checking off your to-do list. Don’t waste time looking for reasons not to call your prospects. Just call! The longer you procrastinate, the longer it will take you to grow your network marketing or MLM business.
