Budget Wedding: Grooming The Old Car For The Big Event

Weddings are as lovely and romantic as they are very expensive. Let us not debate that fact. From the day leading to the big day when the boy flashes out the engagement ring to his love to the honeymoon vacation, everything stinks of a dollar sign. But as dismaying as any dollar sign looks on your bill, you can always cut excess costs.

Saving shouldn’t be a tragic affair. You can still have the dream wedding you want, simply look for the cheaper version. Say, rather than the easily-wilt tulips, have roses or carnation in the same color. Or, you can look for inexpensive shops that can offer you a bargain if you truly like that variety. Tokens may be hand-crafted, clothes may be sewed or rented, food may be home-cooked, and organizers and music may be friend volunteers. Almost everything can be purchased cheaper.

There are things that, no matter how much you try, stay costly. Wedding cars cost from a few hundred dollars to over a thousand just to rent for a few hours. Even the relatively cheaper car rental services still cost hundreds of dollars.

So instead of paying that much just for a few hours of rental, why not just utilize your old but operational car? Turn your old car into a stunning vintage. The difference between the two is that old is out-of-date, while vintage is retro. Retro is so in right now, people are actually going for it. So even if you have a decades-old car, you can save a lot of money by turning it into a vintage wedding car.

Begin by grooming your prized vehicle. The great thing about grooming your own vehicle to serve on your wedding day is that not only will it save you hundreds of dollars, you also get to restore your car’s splendor too. This lasts for more than a few measly hours also. You need to groom your car regularly anyway, so why not just use it for your wedding day?

Nowadays, everything vintage is revered. So even if your automobile doesn’t fall into the category of the upper end class, you need not trouble yourself. Even your old Volks will do if it is still running. Color isn’t an issue anymore also. While only white would do in the yesteryears, any other hue available will also do so no need for a new paintjob.

You would need the requisite ornaments, of course. Add the blossoms on the hood and the the “Just Married” sign at the back of the automobile and you’re all ready.
