Choosing Your MLM Marketing Strategy

When I first started out in this business I was instructed to make a list of family friends and meet people on the street. Nothing wrong with those strategies and I encourage people to talk with people as they meet them regarding their business. Needless to say the highest paid network marketers are not relying on family and friends or meeting people on the street. They all have several advertising plans in play to support their lead generation goals. Listed here are some tips to choosing a successful strategy.

1. When a successful person is suggesting a particular method…its because it works. But you need to be certain that the strategy fits you. There are strategies to choose from both online and offline so don’t get pigeoned holed into thinking you must do this one or that one.

2. Pick a strategy that generates enjoyment. You are not going to take pleasure in this business when you are repeatedly doing things that you loathe doing. Somethings you will have to do just because its part of what makes the business work but by and large you make the business what you want it to be.

3. Have numerous tactics to choose from. You’ll have people in your business of varying personalities and talents. Make sure you have ample variety to accommodate the various personality styles and talents in the people you are recruiting.

4. Decide on one on line and off line strategy and master it. Mastering it means that you are achieving a minimum of five high quality leads each day per tactic. don’t move on to master a different strategy until you truly have mastered the one you chose.

Challenge yourself to learn alternative marketing strategies as you grow. Discovering alternate strategies has become part of your professional growth. There’s video marketing, article marketing, blogging, ppc, social media online. And in side of that you can place emphasis on Facebook, Twitter or Linkedin. These are only just examples.

In the early days I didn’t understand any of these things existed, and sadly neither did my immediate up line. So, think big in relationship to the amount of high quality targeted leads your strategy needs to generate a day for your businesses activity to correspond with the income goals that you desire.

To illustrate if 10% of the people you hook up with sign up for your business then how many leads does your marketing strategy need to produce on a daily basis to meet your earnings goals. Do the math and get clarity about what you’re up to.

Keep in mind that you are an independent business owner. Its your duty to create your marketing strategies and promotions. So if your company or up line does not provide you with the information to help you in these areas then it is still your responsibility to find and implement these kinds of strategies.

Its your success we’re discussing, take control of it and train your people to take control of theirs. These marketing skills will be the most useful skills you can learn. When you grow you’ll be able to make use of the matching skills to promote any thing because conceptually you know how its done making your future success inevitable.
