How To Write Google Ads That Convert

The great thing about using the Google AdWords program is that you know that your ads will be placed on the best spots. Because Google is one of the best search engines, the company knows the best places on the web where your ads can be posted. But, availing of Google’s services is not enough to drive traffic to your ads. You should also know how to write Google ads so that you will be getting the right visitors to your site.

Using Adwords is one thing but having a great ad is completely another. What you need to realize is that you can only drive traffic to your site if your ad is great. This is not an easy thing to do. You will need to do a few things first before releasing an ad that will truly work.

One of the things that you need to do is to focus on the two main parts of your PPC or pay-per-click campaign. These parts are important in making your ad successful. Without them, your ad will not target the right kinds of visitors to your site.

The keywords are the first main part of your ad. One of the best ways to know which keywords to use is to imagine what your potential customers will search on the search engines if they are looking for a product or service. Use these keywords on your ad so that you can target these visitors.

Knowing the right keywords is important, but the frequency with which you use them is also a major concern. You have to avoid what experts call keyword stuffing. This is using keywords in your ad many more times than you should. Doing this is not good for your CTR (click-thru rate) and conversion.

After recognizing your keywords, you should now work on the tag. The tag is the part of your ad that will make the readers want to check your product. This is a call to action tag. You can write the tag in many ways but using a question is very effective. The question, however, should be interesting enough that the readers will want to click on the ad in order to know the answer.

Aside from these two important parts, you should also know your market niche. You must have an understanding of the kinds of people who would want to buy your products or avail of the services that you offer. This way, you will be writing ads that target a particular audience. If your ads do not target a particular audience, you will not be able to convert your clicks into sales.

Before you post your ad, you need to check it first. Having another party check if it’s good enough is a great idea. Ask a friend or a family member if the ad makes them want to dive in to your site and get the product you’re selling. Ask them if your tag is effective. You can also ask them for ways to improve your ad so that you will end up with the best advertisement there is.
