Need A Reasonably Priced Touch Screen Phone

There has been a flood of touch screen phones that has been released onto the market. Apples iPhone is doing so well each cell phone company has been trying to release their own version of a touch screen phone to capture some of the magic. One such company to capitalize on the situation is Verizon Wireless. They took a design from their already existing line of enV phones and created the LG enV Touch. It is one of the newest touch screen phones to hit store shelves.

The enV Touch has an amazingly large touch screen. It supports a staggering 1.6 million colors. The display is very sharp, vibrant, and bright. There are only 3 physical buttons on the front of the phone underneath the touch screen. Displayed for dialing and messaging is an alphanumeric keypad. The touch screen is very responsive and actually has options to vibrate or emit a noise when your touch is registered by the phone. This function helps you practice using and utilizing the touch screen correctly. The touch screen works well but it takes a while to get used to. When the phone is flipped open the user will have access to a physical full QWERTY keyboard and a secondary screen which is just as large as the one on the outside. The keyboard is very easy to use because the buttons aren’t cramped together.

Despite the lack of V Cast Mobile TV and Wi-Fi the LG enV Touch has an impressive list of features. One of the more interesting features is the drawing pad. You can draw a picture on the screen using your finger. You are then able to save the picture and send it to anyone in your contacts list. The phone also features a USB port which makes storing data incredibly easy. The enV Touch also has a full HTML web browser. Using the touch screen can be quite annoying at times because the touch screen functions don’t work so well during web browsing.

The LG enV Touch features a very impressive camera. The lens is 3.2 megapixels and takes great looking photos. The phone offers many expansive image capturing options such as five white balance presets, six resolution settings, three focusing modes and much much more. One of the most notable features on the camera is the ability for it to take panoramic photos. It does this by digitally molding together 3 photos (left, middle, and right) taken of an area.

This phone features an amazing call quality. There is little to no interference or static during conversations. Also people on the other line will sound very clear. Similarly the speakerphone works just as well too. The caller will not sound too loud and distorted over the enV’s speaker phone.

With its many features the LG enV Touch is a great phone. Despite lacking Wi-Fi and featuring a touch screen that isn’t as responsive as other phones this is would still make a great purchase for anyone who wants an affordable touch screen upgrade for their Verizon Wireless phone.
